Cam Newton has been hounded by pressure for the better part of the first half. When he has had time he has been inaccurate, missing high as he has failed to set his feet on several throws. He hasn’t been able to find wide open receivers like he had against the Seahawks and the Cardinals as Von Miller and company have him on his heals.
Peyton has been what we’ve come to expect of him. He’s managed the game and that has led to an early field goal, but since the first drive he hasn’t been able to move the Bronco offense. A poor throw led to an interception but because of short fields provided by his defense and special teams he hasn’t looked as uncomfortable as his counterpart.
The two quarterbacks have a turnover each in the first half and a combined completion percentage of 48.5%.
